Remodeling Project Location: 34 Pine Tree Drive, Pine Grove PA

This project was a completely redesigned and remodeled custom kitchen.  We installed custom maple Showplace Wood Product cabinets and a WilsonArt Hi-Definintion countertop.  We also installed a ceramic tile floor and new double hung window.

Description of Work and Products Used

We completely removed all existing elements of the original kitchen.  We removed the existing soffits, a closet, flooring, window and cabinets.  We closed in a 2nd doorway to the kitchen in order to provide more usable space for cabinets and countertop.  We installed new sheetrock in the kitchen area and finished it.  The ceilings and walls were painted neutral colors chosen by the homeowner.  Fiberrock underlayment was installed underneath a new ceramic tile floor.  We installed Showplace Cabinetry throughout the kitchen.  The cabinets are solid wood construction, with dovetailed drawers and 3/4" shelves.  The homeowner choose maple cabinets and freeport style doors and drawers.  The cabinets were finished with bordeaux stain and an ebony glaze.  The cabinets have many features including lazy susans and roll out trays.  The cabinets were finished off with a matching 4" crown molding.  We installed a WilsonArt Hi Definition countertop with double thickness bar top.  We also installed a new Metal Industries double hung vinyl window with insulated glass.  We finished the window with solid maple trim.  The window recieved a new window stool with apron, a 3 1/2" colonial casing.  All of the appliances are Kenmore Elite and include a new dishwaser, cooktop, double ovens, microwave and full size refridgerator.  Our plumber and electrician Ken Witmer installed new recepticles, recessed lighting, a ceiling fan, and hooked up all of the appliances.
